Job Title: Events Assistant
Pay: £11.50 per hour - weekly pay (pay per hour) but ordinary 37.5 hours a week
The Experience St Andrews is a provider of luxury golf tours which guarantees your round on the Old Course, St Andrews, though our appointment as an Authorised Provider of Old Course Tee Times by the St Andrews Links Trust.
As a member of the TESA operations team, you will support the events managers in delivering an outstanding customer experience to both our customers and suppliers. You will be on the front line of our business will be responsible for encouraging customer loyalty and ensuring the TESA brand values are represented at all times. Working as part of a talented, ambitious, and highly collaborative team you will support with the organisation and delivery of truly bucket list experiences.
This is a seasonal position running alongside the golf tour high season of April to October however a permanent role may become available for a standout candidate as the business continues to grow.
The role would suit a very organised, proactive and driven individual with a passion to deliver at the highest level. Local golf experience and knowledge would be advantageous however the ideal candidate should be competent within the full Microsoft suite as well as show a wiliness to develop their skillset within the role.
Day to day Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Produce, update and send various reports weekly to partners in a timely fashion.
- Support in the organisation of collateral pre-event to ensure a smooth program delivery
- Liaise and assist with event manager requirements pre-event, on-day and post event
- Provide day to day liaison and support with events managers, ground services manager and our ground services team
- Manage a close and professional relationship with our suppliers developing strong repour with the relevant contacts and teams
- Regular team meetings and 1-2-1’s with the Operations Manager
- Daily support for all other peers and events managers
- Onsite support to continue building rapport and representing as the face of TESA for end-to-end delivery
