We are currently recruiting for a Europe Logistics Inventory Junior Specialist to sit within the EU logistics team, based in our newly redesigned London office, with some travel to our warehouse in Roosendaal. This will be a 12 month fixed term contract. You will be reporting into the EU Logistics Manager, working closely with the warehouse operations teams and global teams based in our Japan HQ.
As part of the Warehouse Operations team, you will be primarily responsible for managing the warehouse inventory. To manage warehouse inventory, which is the cornerstone of our retail/EC logistics service, and to improve the accuracy of book and physical inventory in the warehouse system. Also improving the inventory accuracy of the warehouse system and our systems. Also, compiling and analyzing data in other warehouse operations (shipping/receiving/storage). And other support tasks for the logistics team.
What you will be responsible for
Communicating clearly and efficiently with internal stakeholders on all logistics topics
Working with 3PL vendors to improve inventory accuracy
Working with the logistics team and inventory accuracy team at our Japan HQ to improve inventory accuracy
Monitoring variances between book inventory and actual inventory in the warehouse system.
Managing Inventory on our system (write on/write off, etc.)
Resolving any problems/complaints about the status of goods during inbound
Improving loss of stock take, three times per year and achieve KPI's
Analysing and summarising logistics costs using Excel
Compiling and analysing data to improve work efficiency of warehouse operations (shipping/receiving/stock)
