We are looking for an energetic and passionate Business Intelligence Apprentice to support the transformation of how our business uses data. This role will put you at the heart of commercial questions & business operations across multiple departments to design and build data sets, dashboards & processes to meet business user requirements.

You will be passionate about the opportunities data insight & automation can provide.

Responsibilities

• Interpret business user requirements & collaborate with them to identify & implement the “data” steps to achieving this from data discovery to validation.
• In doing so you will need to:
  • Investigate & validate data sources
  • Build new and/or modify existing data movement solutions to meet business requirements
  • Develop & build the logic to achieve the analytics insight goal or automated process which will deliver value to the business
  • Be a champion of the solutions automation of processes can bring – provide support & troubleshooting to embed the result of your work.
  
  

Requirements

The Person:

• An analytical and methodical person, with an eye for detail
• Good communication skills and experience of requirements gathering.
• Ability to work through problems, diagnose, propose solution, test, refine.

• Comfortable with working as part of a team but also able to progress projects alone
• You will be taught SQL (snowflake), Tableau (data visualisation and reporting) and Alteryx (ETL, Data analysis and modelling tool).
