Job description
The University of North Midlands is looking to recruit an Estates Engineering Team Leader Electrical Bias to work within the Estates Team at the Royal Stoke Hospital. You will be keen and enthusiastic working within a large team to assist in the provision of a high level of service to the hospital.
The candidate will ideally have working experience at a Team leader / Supervisor level with knowledge and experience of electrical services and repairs.

- To ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Engineering Services by the correct management of the allocated resources.
- To assist in recruitment and training and to motivate staff such that the services are provided competently, effectively and as efficiently as possible.
- To ensure that the correct equipment, spares and tools are available for the provision of the service and that this equipment and tools are effectively and efficiently maintained.
- To ensure that sufficient spares are available to allow the correct provision of the service but commensurate with the minimum of stock holding practicable and to be an authorised signatory.
- To ensure that all maintenance activities are performed correctly and that the end results of these activities meet the client’s needs and expectations.
- To ensure that operation costs are kept to a minimum but commensurate with the provision of a service which meet the client’s requirements. To identify and implement cost savings wherever possible.
