We provide acute medical and surgical services to Reading, Wokingham and West Berkshire and specialist services such as cancer, dialysis, and eye surgery to a wider population across Berkshire and its borders.The Trust is made up of 7 locations with the Royal Berkshire Hospital being the main site.What you’ll be responsible for:· Ensure Estates Development Department procurement records are up-to-date and provide a clear audit trail.· Raising purchase orders on Epro, meeting room bookings and monitoring mailbox· To plan and organize own work schedule with the use of appropriate planning aids.· Demonstrate good time management and ensure anticipated difficulties in meeting deadlines are promptly reported.· Attend designated meetings occasionally, the information may be complex and at times sensitive. Ensure all office systems are maintained to a high standard.· Ensure that services run smoothly by having well-planned and organized administrative systems and processes in place.· Ensure the efficient and accurate recording of data on all relevant electronic systems.You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times3.
