New exciting new opportunities have arisen as part of the restructure of the Estates Service, to become the local employer of choice.
We are looking to internally develop motivated and enthusiastic individuals within the Estates Team to help them progress in to a position where they are prepared both through experience and academically to take on an Estates Officer role.
This will involve in the first stage becoming Competent Person and then training and obtaining experience to become an Authorised Person, you will learn to maintain contact with the external Authorising Engineer, arranging permits, co-ordinate maintenance activities, and issue/complete documentation.
You will be given the tools to help you develop into the next level specialist within your field. Assist the Estates Officers in ensuring a cost-effective and efficient engineering maintenance service is provided.
Deputise for the Speciality Estates Officer- in times of absence from site. Provide site technical knowledge to engineering Project Engineers/Consultants. Participate in the Trust on-call rota for out-of-hours Estate Engineering Rota.
Co-ordinate Maintenance and Inspection activities.
Maintain a high degree of flexibility in being responsive to the Trust's needs.
