We have an exciting opportunity for a Store Advisor (Goods in) to join the Stores team at our Garden Centre in Esher. This role involves assisting with customer deliveries and in addition goods in administration.
This role is Monday to Friday but includes some Saturdays at busy times of the year.
The main responsibilities of the role are to:
- carry out deliveries – assisting with daily delivery routes
- accurately receive deliveries onto the stock control system with a handheld terminal
- investigate and resolve any delivery and system anomalies
- liaise with Department Managers and customers
- load and unload delivery vehicles
- deliver goods to our customers to the highest level of customer service standards
- vehicle safety checks and maintenance.
The ideal candidate will:
- have experience working in a similar warehouse environment or stock control
- have a full driving licence and ideally hold a forklift licence
- be PC literate
- be able to work under pressure at a fast pace and have a flexible attitude.
