Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full Time - 39 hours per week
Salary: £10.02 per hour
Reference: 054131 Additional Information: Day support & waking nights that include some weekends.

We are supporting an individual to fulfil their ambition of living within their own home. This is an important step for the person, and we require support workers with experience and/or knowledge of autism and adjustment disorder to help the individual adjust to their new life in the community
With the new living arrangements there is the need to support the individual to understand their finances, further develop their cooking skills and their ability to plan a healthy diet, supporting them with medication and to be able to complete household chores.
There will also be a lot of time supporting with life in their community; to develop relationships within their community, to discover new skills, form further ambitions and pursue hobbies and interest, which currently include fishing.
The role will require Resilience, Patience, compassion and flexibility, to enable a truly person-centred approach to the support. Shift patterns will include a combination of working day support & waking nights that include some weekends.
