Job description
This role is to assess claims in line with the policy terms and conditions, ensuring that the highest level of customer service is provided. You will provide accurate and efficient input and assessment of equine Veterinary Fees, Death and other Non-Veterinary Fee claims. In addition, as part of the claims team you will be expected to be able to identify fraud indicators and refer these cases to the Claims Validation team.
Knowledge of equine terminology and the willingness to learn and develop are essential.
Equine qualification is highly desirable.
Previous basic insurance knowledge would be desirable but not essential.
Ability to manage and prioritise own workload.
Excellent numeracy, verbal and written.
GCSE grade A-C (4-9) in Maths and English, or equivalent.
Can-do attitude and be willing to flex to suit the needs of the department.
