Your Company:
The team at NET Recruit are partnering with a highly successful electronics engineering and digital solutions business to join them on their search for a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Analyst to join their team in the Weymouth area. The company provide excellent solutions to their clients, dealing with both hardware and software and the company itself has invested a large amount of time, resources and money into their Research and Development team, ensuring that they can continue expanding into the industries they operate in.
This role will sit within the IT and Analyst teams, to provide hands-on, daily support across the Product Lifecycle Management systems and supporting the IT Engineering systems used by the company and customers. This is an IT role with system engineering elements, therefore requiring a person with a background in both.

What you will need to Apply:
Candidates for this role will need to be qualified to HND or equivalent level in an IT discipline ideally. Additionally, applicants will need to have exceptional experience utilising Windows/PC hardware to support networking, experience of Product Lifecycle Management systems, CAD systems and web development and database fundamentals. Experience should have also been gained working within a helpdesk or support role, with a customer facing element. Candidates will need excellent communication skills within this role and additionally, will need to come from an engineering background to have the technical understanding and be grounded in the sector that the company operates in.

- Understanding business requirements and looking for opportunities for progressing systems and processes
- Defining technical solution designs related to systems and processes
- Performing assessments of processes to ensure a full understanding of challenges posed to the business, in a technical capacity
- Providing 2nd and 3rd-line support for applications to end users
- Producing and updating documentation for existing and new systems
- Working alongside Project Managers and Technical Leads to conduct accurate reporting on the progress of projects
- Supporting the upgrading of the software
