We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Regulatory Services team - Food, Health and Safety in this part-time post. This post hours includes working evenings and weekends for approximately 10-12 hours each week to inspect businesses which are open during this time and not the normal 9-5 office hours.
This is a hybrid role with practical food businesses visits within the city and district for some of the time and the remaining time hybrid working either from home or at the main offices in St Albans. You will manage your own workload and your working hours can be negotiable to suit your other commitments (for example, you could work 5-8pm over three days per week, and rest of the hours over the weekend on Saturday).
You must be fully qualified Environmental Health Officers and be EHORB registered, or with equivalent demonstrable relevant experience in Food Safety (FSA competency framework matrix) and Health and Safety enforcement.
