About you


Objectives

You will help our clients achieve their goals as they develop, manage and operate in the marine environment. This will involve managing and contributing to environmental assessments, marine policy and planning studies, and a wide range of related projects that support sustainable development of the marine environment.


Responsibilities


You will contribute to a range of different projects, and responsibilities may include:

  • Researching environmental literature and writing evidence reviews
  • Analysing and interpreting data
  • Delivering environmental assessments
  • Assisting with field surveys
  • Contributing to a wide range of project deliverables, including reports and presentations
  • Project management and client engagement

Requirements

You have a degree in a relevant environmental discipline including a good understanding of the marine environment.

You have skills and experience in:

  • Marine environmental assessments, policy and planning
  • Evidence reviews and assessments
  • Data analysis and mapping
  • Knowledge of maritime sectors and activities
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Report writing and presentations
  • Relevant experience in a consultancy or regulatory background would be advantageous.

Location

Our offices are based at Town Quay in Southampton, with fantastic views overlooking Southampton Water.

We recognise it is not always convenient to work from a central office every weekday, which is why we provide flexible and hybrid working options. However, there will be a requirement to come to our offices from time to time, and to visit client sites.
