Job description
Basted Baker is an award winning brunch restaurant located in the heart of downtown Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast.
We’re looking for a Barista Team Lead who has previous supervisory experience in a Restaurant environment. This role is a great way to experience a fast pace environment and development your leadership skills along the way.
You must be available on the weekends as these are our busiest days. Our hours are 9-3 so it suits a leader who doesn't want to work evenings.
Team Lead Requirements:
- Previous restaurant and barista experience
- Promote the culture, values and mission of Basted Baker
- Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume to keep basted operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team
- Provides feedback to the manager and owners on any areas for improvement
- Delivers epic customer service to all customers and sets the example to the team
- Develops positive relationships with the team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, need and concerns
- Executes store operations during scheduled shifts
- Organizes opening and closing duties as assigned
- Follows all cash management and cash register policies and ensures proper cash management practices are followed by shift team
- Provides quality beverages and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
- Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines

Salary: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
