Job description
We are looking for an experienced or unqualified (we are willing to train) tutor to join our team to deliver English and Maths and help students reach their learning goals.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for teaching and a strong understanding of the subject matter they are tutoring and the needs of young people who come from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The successful candidate will be able to provide personalised instruction to students in order to help them develop the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in their studies and pass exams or assessments.

Description: To deliver a wide-ranging English and math curriculum to young people with additional needs and poor educational experiences
Holiday entitlement: 28–35 days plus bank holidays (FTE)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to the student's needs.
- Produce learning resources including lesson plans and schemes of work
- Provide feedback and guidance to students on their work.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to SLT working with the exams and qualifications moderation team.
- Complete Individual Learning Plans
- Maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
- Be patient and understanding of the student's learning style.
- Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- All other such activities reasonably demanded of an employee of a small organisation
