Job description
The Project Operations Technician will provide direct assistance to the Project Operations Team. This position must create dashboards and reports and be able to use various programs to document and track projects and deliverables.
- Assist electrical, civil, and facilities operations teams.
- Aid project engineering department as needed.
- Maintain spreadsheets and compile data as required.
- Create and maintain job sites and audit reports in Siteview.
- Review daily reports and send out corrections as needed.
- Track cost and maintain dash boards for project lookbacks.
- Upload company records to central database.
- Prepare and maintain scheduling timelines of ongoing projects.
- Prepare slides for weekly meeting presentations.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 2+ years of Engineering Technician experience preferred.
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs.
- Knowledge of GIS programs (Google Earth, ArcGIS) preferred.
- Working knowledge of Spotfire or SiteView preferred.
- Knowledge of construction operations and terminology is preferred.
- Demonstrate experience in supporting engineering, construction, environmental consulting, or related experience required.
- Ability to effectively communicate information to co-workers and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently and with a team as needed.
- Ability to work in stressful situations and problem solve quickly.
