What is the core purpose of the role?

You will be undertaking a full apprenticeship with the view of becoming a fully trained 'Multi-Skilled Engineer'. Working as an Engineer will see you being trained up in both the electrical and mechanical sides of the role. You will learn about fault finding and maintenance of the machinery within the foundry. You will also use a range of other machinery and hand tools in the application of your craft and learn skills such as welding and the application of continuous improvement tools. All of your work will be conducted while supporting and driving the highest levels of your own safety and the safety of others.
