IT Data and Integration Engineering Lead

An exciting opportunity is available for an IT Data and Integration Engineering Lead position based in Wiltshire, offering a hybrid working arrangement. In this role, you will have the chance to manage a team and oversee the technical delivery of data and integration services. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with stakeholders, ensuring efficient and strategic utilisation of data within the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Take charge of a team consisting of data and integration engineers, testers, and support staff. Collaborating with leaders from different departments as part of the Leadership Team.
• Supervise the technical delivery of the data and integration platform, ensuring the maintenance of operational feeds and provision of new integration and data to customers.
• Ensure that the team's work aligns with the overall strategy and values of the company.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to shape the future of data and integration delivery in a cross-functional structure.
• Provide line management to the team, offering mentoring and support as needed.
• Manage the work pipeline, prioritisation, and communication with the team and customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience in a data-driven solutions model, including working on data-related projects.
• Proficiency in data transformation, particularly from source to reporting tools.
• Experience in data integration and/or data operational management.
• Strong leadership skills and excellent communication abilities are vital for this role.
• Excellent skills in prioritisation, relationship management, negotiation, and influencing are desirable.

Beneficial Technical Experience:

• Microsoft Azure
• Snowflake
• SQL Server or other database systems.
• SQL query language.
