- Annual salary of £12,674 per annum.
- Permanent role.
- Part-time role - 18.5 hours.
- Based in Oldham.
The role
As a Support Worker, you will provide direct key work and tenancy support to service users within our accommodation services. Within the role you will be allocated a caseload where you will be expected to work with service users who have complex needs; for example, homelessness, drug and alcohol misuse issues, mental and / or physical health needs, offending behaviour, etc.
Our aim is to empower service users whilst actively engaging them individually and within the community, helping them to support each other, to develop resilience, to live independently and to be an asset to the community.
Working pattern: Monday, Tues, Thursday 9 till 3.30
The right fit
- You’ll have experience of working with people with mental health support needs, drug and alcohol misuse as well as complex needs.
- You will have the ability to assess risks and needs of services users to plan and deliver effective support.
- You’ll possess experience and the skills to assess and report any safeguarding concerns in an appropriate and timely manner.
- You will have the ability and experience developing and managing relationships with stakeholders including but not limited to Drug and Alcohol Services, Local Authorities and Statutory Services.
