NextDental.com is a fast growing business and has substantially increased turnover year on year. A highly efficient online company, we supply dental and medical practices across the UK with dental supplies and sundries. Our aim is to become the leader in the UK in this field.
What would be involved in the role?
We are looking to make a full time, permanent appointment to join our growing team.
You will be assisting in the day to day operations side of the business to include all elements of stock movement, management, recording and analysis, as well as maintaining procedures within the operational side of the business.
- Packing and dispatching multiple orders accurately and tidily.
- Coordinating the receipt, order assembly and dispatch of products.
- Assisting with the daily movement of inbound and outbound stock.
- Keeping stock control systems up to date and accurate. Assisting with the stock-take and stock management process.
- Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.
What type of person are we looking for?
We are looking for an articulate applicant who is enthusiastic to develop a strong working relationship with a close-knit team.
You will need to maintain smooth and efficient processes to produce the highest level of service to our customers. You will be forward thinking in all areas of your work and ideally you will have previous experience as a Warehouse Assistant / Operative ,Operations Assistant, Operations Supervisor, Dispatch Coordinator, Dispatch Assistant, or similar.
The successful applicant for this role will have / be:
- Effective communication skills working within a team with demonstrable warehousing experience.
- The ability to work unassisted at times using their own initiative.
- Be highly accurate even when working under pressure.
- Be highly organised, analytical and maintain communication with all departments.
- Have a high level of drive and self-motivation with a get-up-and-go attitude.
- Be IT literate (preferred experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (Khaos Control) and Microsoft programmes).
- Be bright and sociable with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Committed to a high level of customer service.
- A good team worker, well presented, punctual and good mannered.
Salary: £21,400.00 per year (full time 39.5 hour week)
