We are on the search for a Site Engineer to join the team based in the Nottinghamshire area. If you have engineering experience within the forklift, plant, access, agricultural and/or automotive sectors, then this position may be for you. Salary circa is up to £34k OTE £40k , company van, overtime available, laptop & phone, PPE and specialist tools, and enrolment onto one of the most incredible world-class leading training and development programmes.

Job Summary of a Site Engineer

Reporting to the Site Manager, this role as a Site Engineer will be expected to be in control of the maintenance, service and repairs of material handling equipment on site. Candidate will be working with an assortment of equipment which includes mainly electric, but will also be working with Diesel and Gas.

Responsibilities of the Site Engineer:

  • Servicing and repair of material handling equipment.
  • Ordering of parts as efficiently as possible & ensure all stock levels/movement records are accurate & correct
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately & within the stipulated time period & with the relevant order numbers
  • Manage own work in progress
  • Maintain a safe working environment & work in a safe manner

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 qualified in Plant, Vehicle Maintenance or similar
  • Preferably served a full apprenticeship
  • Experienced Plant Fitter, FLT Engineer, Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician or Ex forces will all be considered for this opportunity
  • Technical experience in Engines, Electrics and Diagnostics is compulsory. Hydraulics and all other engine types are required also.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Attractive Salary circa to £29k up to £34k, OTE £40k
