Mobility Engineer - Macclesfield, £27,500

We are currently enjoying rapid growth and we now require a Mobility Equipment Technician/Fitter to join our Macclesfield Cheshire Team.
Our technicians are mainly responsible for diagnosing and repairing faulty products in our workshop or customers’ homes.
Our technicians will also prepare and deliver new and reconditioned equipment.
Mostly in the Northwest, with further afield visits occasionally required.

. What are my responsibilities?

• To assess products presenting faults and repair accordingly.
• Prepare supplier orders for parts required.
• Accept supplier deliveries into store.
• Prepare work invoices and accept client payments.

•

• Preparation of new and reconditioned products for sale.

•

• Carry out engineered delivery of items and do client handover.
• Install on site external ramp systems and other equipment

•

• Assist with any retail or aftersales customer enquiries, in store or over the

phone.
•

• Maintaining the cleanliness of company vehicle and workshop areas.
• Attend training courses as required.

What skills are needed?

• Technically minded – no previous experience with mobility products is

required.

• Able to safely lift heavy items.
• Full Driving Licence.
• Must be self-motivated, polite, and customer focused.
• Have the ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills using standard office IT.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent communication and social skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £27,500.00 per year
