About us
We are a friendly community independent opticians in the West Midlands that provide local services and care to all patients.
We have 3 practices in the West Midlands, 2 of which are in Birmingham- Acocks Green and Handsworth. They both carry out Diabetic Retinal Eye Screening.
The Retinal Screener will screen patients for diabetic retinopathy.
Job role:
- To provide a high standard of care for patients.
- To provide an eye screening service for diabetic patients in community.
- To support the delivery of a high quality, professional, safe and compassionate healthcare service, all staff are expected to act as a role model to others in all aspects of their work and consistently demonstrate NNUH’s ‘PRIDE’ values of People focused, Respect, Dedication, Integrity and Excellence.
- The work is interesting and demanding and you will be required to work on your own initiative and drive.

The essential criteria for this role includes the requirement to hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health Screening (or equivalent).
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 28-36 per week
Salary: £19,450.00-£25,000.00 per year
