Job description
Interesting and varied role working as a key part of this small aircraft parts repair and manufacture workshop/machine shop. You will use your strong organisation skills and understanding of machine shop mechanical engineering to be involved in all aspects of the small business, for example:
- Assisting with the planning of work loading and resources across the machine shop
- Buying parts and materials
- Stock control
- Customer liaison to include quotes and estimates
This role may suit someone with a background as a machinist who is looking to come off the tools or someone with some basic machining experience who is now looking for an office type job.
