Current is looking for an experienced systems engineer to fill the role of Sr. Engineering Manager, B2B. This role will help drive critical organizational objectives to create a best in industry digital experience across all platforms and types of users and will be responsible for leading all engineering and system implementation partners across the B2B platform suite. They will own development, architecture and quality assurance for both projects and steady state across B2B and web platforms. They will work within the IT organization to develop roadmaps, strategies and implement best practices to deliver a stable, functional and user friendly experience.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead external engineering partners and system implementation partners to ensure optimal organizational structure and agile development processes to maximize velocity and delivery of critical infrastructure.
- Hands on approach, engaged with development teams to deliver features and functional enhancements, improved UX/UI and managing technical debt and bug fixes.
- Manage inter- project dependencies and clear blockers across SFCC, SAP, middleware and integrations, PIM and 3rd party commerce platforms.
- Drive focus on operational excellence throughout the organization & partners, including (but not limited to) processes, governance, efficient working approaches, collaboration
- Ensure positive trend in key performance indicators of the digital platform
- Partner with PMO & Product for on-time delivery of solutions, proactively mitigate risk of “scope creep” and business impact during transformational change
- Deep technical architectural and engineering knowledge; end-to-end application architecture for B2B business models
- 7+ years engineering and development experience. 2+ years leading multiple engineering teams.
- Experience delivering SFCC solutions for B2B businesses. Integration to SAP a plus
- Demonstrated experience with application/technology simplification & rationalization in legacy environments; experience in “bi-modal” technology environments that combine digital/agile with enterprise/monolithic applications
- Experience communicating, relationship building, and collaborative decision making with all levels of the organization; experience with stakeholder and partner management.
Compensation
The position has a compensation package inclusive of base, bonus (if eligible), benefits, 401k contribution, time off, recognition awards and more. This salary range is 145,000-175,000.
