Product Manager

The Company's cloud-based SaaS services power personalised eCommerce shopping experiences that help retailers engage and delight their customers. Our platform encompasses all aspects of product discovery, content, social messaging and UGC to deliver exceptional power to eCommerce merchandisers and marketers.

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for eCommerce to work with clients to push their boundaries and embrace agile API-enabled processes to design and deliver exceptional customer experiences across the customer journey.

As a product manager, you will be helping new clients onboard onto our digital experience platform by capturing requirements from stakeholders, building use-cases and delivering these.

You will work with clients to define new use-cases, help solve their challenges and provide expert guidance and support on implementation and measurement.

You will need an understanding of eCommerce and content management platforms, their capabilities and their limitations. You will need a good knowledge of eCommerce site search, category merchandising, product recommendations and building content for promotions, landing pages and blogs.

You will have a good grasp of how front-end and back-end technologies interact and an appreciation of headless approaches to building solutions. A technical team will assist you, but this role will require a working knowledge of these technologies and is a technical position.

You will be a quick and passionate learner that can go out of the way to independently acquire and apply knowledge on new and evolving technologies and approaches.

Working within a dynamic team with a start-up mindset, you will need to be self-motivated and versatile in your approach. You will contribute your ideas and feedback to the product team, with who you will work closely, to determine the product roadmap based on client requirements and market opportunity. You will conduct QA on new developments and assist with their roll-out.

You must establish a trusted advisor relationship with clients and possess excellent interpersonal skills. You will be comfortable and skilled at capturing and communicating complex technical requirements and helping clients to achieve their goals.

You will write documentation and knowledge-base articles to introduce clients to new features and use-cases. You will contribute to our website resources with expert guides.

Experience

· 2+ years of building, supporting or running eCommerce websites, in-house or with an agency.

· Organised, self-motivated, team-player

· Good technical aptitude; well-versed in eCommerce and all things digital.

· Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

· Good awareness of back-end technologies such as .net, php, SQL.

· Experience with managing product data either in a PIM or other structure.

· Knowledge of eCommerce platforms, content management tools, search tools, recommendation tools.

· Competent with wireframing / design tools such as Axure, Figma, Sketch, or others.

· An eye for design and a good feel for consumer psychology would be helpful.

· Experience with configuring Google Analytics and running AB tests (any tool).

· Experience using Google Ads, email marketing platforms, and affiliate marketing.

· An understanding of the technical aspects of SEO would be good.

· A passion for eCommerce and pushing the boundaries – a must.

Salary: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
