Job Responsibilities:
Assisting a Fulltime Hydraulic Engineer to provide engineering expertise in the area of hydraulic design, hydraulic system, component research and evaluation, simulation and analysis, or engineering testing procedures. Assist in the design and development of innovative forklifts and material handling equipment focusing on one of the following:
- Hydraulic Design – Assist in drafting assignments related to modelling. Select appropriate materials, organize bill of materials data and approve detail drawings.
- Hydraulic Systems - Propose hydraulic systems to satisfy vehicle performance and reliability goals. Develop specifications to design systems that are functional, safe, reliable, serviceable, manufacturable, and cost effective.
- Component Research and Evaluation - Search the field for particular components as needed to support system design activity. Oversee design activities necessary to develop, prototype, and launch new components.
- Simulation and Analysis – Assist in creating, debugging, and validating simulation models based on existing or tested performance parameters. Utilize validated models to analyze system performance.
- Testing Procedures - Identify the commonly-used concepts, methods, and procedures for the detailed development and analysis of experimental and standardized tests for new and modified products or components. Devise and apply validation procedures for components and systems under development. Evaluate new components and technologies.
Job Qualifications:
Candidate should be pursuing a Bachelors degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering or Agricultural Engineering- Good written communication, verbal communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Candidate must have reliable means of transportation
