As Senior Field Applications Engineer you will be responsible for actively driving and managing technology engagement through to post sales support across Tier 1 and OEM customers in the UK and Ireland. Working in conjunction with the account team as a technical advisor and system advocate for a wide range of Automotive applications.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and system integrators.
  • Work closely with the Sales Team and Business Units to identify customer needs and provide technical expertise to ensure customer success and future growth.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop and design solutions that meet their requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations and training to internal and external customers.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, onsite and remotely, working with customers to resolve them.
  • Provide feedback to internal (Business Unit) product development teams on customer needs and market trends.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies relevant to the automotive market.
  • Support execution and conversion with customer project management tasks and provide status of ongoing projects and future projects within MS Dynamics as part of the account teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • 6 years in related and progressive experience.
  • Preferable experience in automotive engineering.
  • Good understanding of automotive system engineering and vehicle architecture.
  • A solid understanding of electric control systems and analogue semiconductor applications.
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Available for travel.
  • Holds a full driving license.
