What’s it all about?
Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s network clients, including both financial services and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.
VCA Managed Services (VMS) is an augmentation of Visa’s consultancy offering, supporting the execution and implementation of recommendations to help scale competitive advantage and operate to succeed in the digital age.
With a passion for people development and a good understanding of the challenges involved in growing a multi-country consulting practice, the People Engagement Manager will have responsibility for ensuring our consultants have everything they need to be successful in their careers. Our biggest asset is our people, and you will be working closely with the VMS Delivery Lead and the Head of VMS to strengthen our people practices and communication channels. Our People are central to our success, and you will be critical to the continued growth and success of VMS.

What is expected of you, day to day.
You will work with SME’s across a range of functions to deliver critical VMS people related projects and activities supporting the growth of our consulting practice. Key areas of focus will initially include:
COLLABORATION
- Plan, develop, stand up, support, and promote collaborative tools and techniques such as communities of practice (including Global meetings) to facilitate sharing of ideas and work among internal teams and external partner
- Be the key PoC escalating issue to stakeholders
- Attend and participate in Working Group meetings as required including being an active member in Executive Team meetings
TRAINING
- Working in conjunction with Visa’s learning function SMEs support the assessment of current functions skills and capabilities through a robust learning needs analysis
- Manage the development and delivery of VMS learning pathways, making use of available resources focusing both on soft and technical skills, and working hand in hand with Visa’s learning function to identify further opportunities to improve the professional capability of our people.
- Promote and support delivery of informal learning opportunities, lunch and learn sessions, relevant product / marketing updates etc
CAREER DEVELOPMENT
- To ensure ongoing evaluation, collation of data and qualitative evidence to inform continuous improvement. Building, an empowering workplace through effective performance management and feedback, coaching and support.
- Ensure opportunities for team career progression are developed, working in conjunction with VMS Delivery Lead, and VCA Talent & Practice Development Lead
CULTURE
- Develop, maintain and role model a culture that is open to change and innovation, and supports collaboration, respect and accountability.
- Oversee function development strategies focusing on leadership, team building and the measurement of outcomes through the annual employee engagement survey
- Act as the delegate for VMS on the VCA Europe culture team, reflecting the views from across the VMS function
ONBOARDING
- Design and deliver an onboarding experience that sets up VMS people for success. Integrating Visa, VCA, VMS and relevant client information into a package that ensures new joiners are ready to hit the ground running.
- Develop relationships with onboarding teams across Europe to deliver a consistent onboarding approach
- Support the onboarding of new joiners on both client side and internal platforms. Oversee the tech/tools requirements, set-up, compliance training, welcome emails, initial welcoming and understanding of the role and business.
PEOPLE ENGAGEMENT:
- Establish an internal communications strategy in conjunction with senior managers to ensure remote client delivery teams feel connected to Visa / VMS, and have appropriate opportunities to engage with internal stakeholders, keep up to date with Visa / VMS information etc
- Manage internal communications channels, including newsletters, email communications, and social media platforms
- Improve employee engagement through the demonstration of action. Ensure employee feedback is acted upon, with demonstrable improvement outcomes shared across the function.
- Facilitate monthly / bi-monthly meetings with delivery teams across Europe
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

You will have experience in managing projects, streamlining processes and collaborating with senior stakeholders and internal teams.
What we need from you:
- Previous experience in the development of people related processes
- Project management and leadership skills, with ability to lead cross-functional teams and complex multi work-stream projects
- Proven experience developing and implementing internal communication strategies.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically
- Self-motivation, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently
- Pro-active and effective communication, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Be team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic and flexible with ability to influence in a highly matrixed organisation.
- Previous experience in consulting and expertise in consulting methodologies preferred but not essential
- Cards / financial services understanding beneficial
- Fluent in English (written & verbal), with knowledge of a second European language helpful but not essential
