Employee Engagement Executive

Location: Waltham Cross, Herts

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Hours of Work: Monday – Friday 40 hours per week (0800 – 1600)

An opportunity has arisen for an Employee Engagement Executive to join our Learning & Development team in Waltham Cross. The Employee Engagement executive will support all areas of the organisation in delivering strategies to support retention, communication, and employee engagement objectives. They will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and championing activities and initiatives to help deliver our people objectives in partnership with leadership teams and HR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the organisation and individual functions across the Reynolds group including social media and marketing.
  • Provide the delivery of high-quality communications through employee engagement.
  • Support the delivery of people objectives.
  • Work with various stakeholders from across the business to support the design and facilitation for a wide range of projects, activities and initiatives that impact employee engagement including forums, committees, employee briefings, wellbeing and engagement related events and initiatives etc.
  • Update the communication channels across Reynolds group.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements towards engagement, empowerment, communication, recognition and rewarding.
  • Champion the ability to increase participation for company engagement events/initiatives creatively and proactively.
  • Gain visibility and maintain open communicative relationships with employees, managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Guide, coach, and influence managers to engage, communicate, and adopt leadership.
  • Stay current of the contemporary and digital communication and engagement methods to assist with the Group business aim to being an employer of choice.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent (desirable)
  • Previous experience of designing, developing, and implementing internal communication strategies and campaigns.
  • Experience in facilitating two-way communication with staff, forums and focus groups.
  • Experience of developing and managing a range of communication tools and methods for different audiences and purposes (e.g., publications, social media, e-communications etc)
  • Experience of event management e.g., workplace charity event, family fun day
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills in particular Excel and PowerPoint
  • Practical experience of using graphic design platforms/software
  • Confident presentation skills for conveying ideas and strategies to peer group and business colleagues
  • Creative and solutions focused, able to see past challenges and plan a way forward that will meet the needs of the organisation/function.
