The successful candidate will:

What you’ll do…
Provide operational support and assistance for all IT desktop, laptop, network and mobile communications hardware and software, with a specific responsibility for operating the IT Service Desk / break fix system. This is a great career opportunity for someone who wants to work within an End User Services IT Team.
What you’ll be responsible for…
- Working within a team with little supervision as an established systems/product specialist to support end users.
- Taking ownership in obtaining the information, evidence and data required to diagnose and resolve more complex problems, escalating or gaining support where appropriate.
- Proactively analysing trends and reports on information in a timely manner to resolve problems, maintain and enhance service.
- Carrying out Installations, moves & changes throughout the business including mobile locations
- Working towards specific KPI’s & SLAs as requested by line manager, also recognises opportunities to improve performance against service level
- Assisting with the installation of new IT equipment.
- Carrying out installation, configuration, and distribution of software on desktop, laptop, and mobile equipment.
- Monitoring end user services support systems using relevant software.
- Maintaining the IT asset register and manage the issue and return of IT equipment.
- Setting up and administering end user system accounts in Active Directory, Office 365, and Microsoft Azure.
- Complying with the Data Protection Act.
- Acting as a point of escalation to resolve service delivery issues.
- Ensuring information technology is used effectively throughout the business to bring about efficiency and service gains.
- Assisting with facilities support function as and when required.
