Reporting to the Learning Operations Senior Manager, the Project and Change Manager will manage the learning portfolio and change board, own the Learning & Talent communications plan, and support with strategy development and communications.

The role will need to work closely with the Learning & Talent senior managers and managers, and directly with the Learning & Talent Director, as well as HR teams such as Internal Communications and Brand. Exceptional communication skills will be key to success, as well as excellent project and stakeholder management skills.

Portfolio and change management:

  • Portfolio management – Provide Project Management office (PMO) support for the central learning and talent portfolio, ensuring milestones, risks, issues and dependencies are tracked and reported.
  • Change board – Chair and project manage the change board meeting where new project requests are discussed and reviewed against the current portfolio.
  • Provide Project Management Office (PMO) support on strategic projects (e.g. campaigns, new platforms, resources or programmes), working with subject matter experts within Learning & Talent and HR. Manage third party suppliers as required.

Communications:

  • Communications management – Own the central learning communications plan, ensuring learning portfolio activity is communicated to relevant stakeholders. Work with HR Internal Communications to ensure alignment with firmwide requirements.
  • Firmwide learning awareness – plan and support with learning and talent awareness initiatives to improve awareness of Deloitte’s learning culture and approach, what learning is available and how to access learning. Create and publish learning communications aligned to internal communication strategy – e.g. intranet articles, business social platforms and input into firmwide newsletters. Work with creative agencies on creative assets as required (e.g. videos, infographics, digital signage).

Strategy support:

  • Strategy development – Support with the development and iteration of the Learning & Talent strategy, working closely with the Learning & Talent Director.
  • Senior stakeholder management - Co-ordinate and/or develop content for senior stakeholder meetings (learning council / partner meetings), supporting with follow up actions as required.
  • Learning team engagement – Develop and/or co-ordinate content for Learning & Talent town halls, away days, strategy days and newsletters, ensuring alignment to strategy.

Project management skills:

  • Portfolio management – experience working in a project or agile management office (PMO/AMO).
  • Project management - understanding of project management tools and experience managing projects
  • Highly organised - Able to plan and execute concurrent activities ensuring appropriate risk management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – especially PowerPoint, Excel and Teams

Communication skills:

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, consult, coach, educate and advise and work with senior managers, directors, partners and global colleagues.
  • Experience as a writer, editor and publisher of communications materials
  • A personable, pro-active professional, able to demonstrate full commitment to exceptional service.

Technical skills:

  • Experienced in strategy development and communication.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen with the ability to interpret and use appropriate data, metrics and draw insights

Other desirable experience:

  • Project management or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working with Monday.com or other project management tools
  • Experience of working in a partnership and/or highly matrixed organisation
  • An understanding of brand and marketing concepts
