Role: Enabler/Supervisor
Location: Chatham
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 7.30am – 5.00pm

The Role:
Ahead of our operational teams arriving at their destination to carry out van pack works, you will be surveying and assessing the immediate and surrounding work area, specifically looking for hazards, blockers & ensuring the Traffic management is correct to achieve the right first time approach.
Your specific responsibility is to reduce the number of aborted planned works, ensure our teams only carry out activities if it is safe to do so, that productivity is high, and the overall operation is cost-efficient.
All work orders should be delivered safely, correctly and on time, and you will be assisting in this objective through excellent planning, communication, and collaboration.
These are some of the activities you will be involved in:
- Ensure jobs are planned and carried out in accordance with relevant Health & Safety & CDM regulations
- Surveying jobs for Traffic Management
- Ordering Traffic Management drawings
- Planning in Traffic Management jobs
- Meetings with highways & detailing agreements to the planning team
- Ensure planned jobs go ahead
We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate…
You will be an experienced supervisor with good all-round technical knowledge of the construction & water industry, additionally knowledge of DS and new connections along with possessing a NRSWA Supervisor qualification and a thorough understanding of the Streetworks & Traffic Management acts is ideal. Blue card qualification is also desirable.
