Job description
The post holder will be part of Gateshead Talking Therapies or South Tyneside Lifecycle Service, which incorporate Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT). To work with clients that are unemployed and/or have challenges with their current employment. To encourage them to recognise the importance of productive work to good mental health and to help them plan a route into meaningful activity and employment. To work with Employers, Education and Training services, Employment Support Services and Third Sector Organisations to identify support mechanisms for people with a mental health problem who are seeking employment.
To promote the service through work with employment and training agencies. To assist with the collection of data and service KPIs. To demonstrate the value of the service through positively promoting the role and the collection and collation of data in line with reporting requirements The post holder will ensure they uphold our Trust vision, values and behavioural compact.
