Our team works with leaders across the business so you will help influence decisions and be an advocate for doing the right thing for our colleagues.
Business Area Focus
The Employee Relations & Advisory team focus on providing a support and advisory service directly to line managers. We work with managers to help them support their teams to do their job. In this role, you will see a range of case topics, and be in a perfect position to identify policy and process improvements all the time. This role is varied and requires a range of experience in managing people change. It also involves a number of small niche areas of expertise including Right to Work, SMCR and Whistleblowing.

Proven experience in dealing with employee relations casework including complex cases, grievances, appeals and tribunals.
A demonstrable understanding of people related policies and experience in review and process improvement.
We use MS Office, a payroll system and an online personnel system as well as a small number of service portals.
We want to increase our senior Employee Relations partner roles to increase the point of escalation and support within the team and provide additional support for complex casework as well as enhance the scope and offering of the ER team.
Experience in managing People Change of all shapes and sizes and a preference for experience in managing consultation.
Experience in working with unions and employee forums.
The Role
Will manage casework and be an escalation point for Consultant within the team.
Lead on policy matters in terms of review and improvements.
CIPD qualified is preferred though demonstrable experience will be considered.
Understanding of current employment legislation and a keen eye for changes on the horizon.
