Job description
ECAs required for cohorting service, providing care to patients as they arrive at an acute hospital's emergency department. Responsibilities for the role include:
- Ensuring patients are safe and comfortable,
- Continuing patient care,
- Monitoring patient observations and escalating any deterioration,
- Assisting with the transfer of patients into the Emergency Department,
- Receiving handovers from ambulance crews and providing handovers to hospital staff.
Applicants must have a minimum of FREC3 or equivalent qualification. Applicants must also be willing to provide information for enhanced DBS checks and clinical governance, and engage in mandatory training or provide evidence of recent CPD.
Rates start from £18.50/hr, unsocial rates start from £20/hr. Loyalty incentives are available. We have full-time, part-time, and bank/ad-hoc contracts available. Successful applicants will be able to choose their own shifts online.
