EMEA Human Resources Business Partner: 9 Month FTC


This role will be primarily responsible for supporting ongoing HR business partnerships and operational matters for all business units across EMEA.


Imperva is a leading cybersecurity provider delivering best-in-class solutions to protect data and we are searching for a dynamic People Partner to join our global HR team to support the EMEA region. This role will be the lead resource for the delivery of HRBP and HR operations & support in the region. Reporting to VP Human Resources EMEA, the ideal candidate is a team player, quick, effective, meticulous, and versatile, with a passion for creative problem-solving.

The EMEA HRBP role will include performing a variety of HR related duties, working closely with local employees & managers as well as with global interfaces, and supporting EMEA activities related to the entire employee life cycle.

Responsibilities


HR Operational Excellence:


  • Manage day to day HR operations for the region including execution of HR programmes, processes and employee relations
  • Partner with global HR team to identify opportunities to improve process and policies that effectively support the execution of the people strategy within the region
  • Provide effective and appropriate advice and support to line managers across EMEA in relation to all HR policies and procedures and legislative requirements including investigations, disciplinary, grievances and performance management
  • Ensure legislative compliance at all times across EMEA, including policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment, and statutory reporting
  • Ensure compliance with the Equality Commission of Northern Ireland (ECNI) and completion of ECNI Annual Monitoring Return and Article 55 Review
  • Management of Invest Northern Ireland (INI) training grants, employee records and reporting
  • Planning and delivering HR-related training with employees and line managers, including interview skills training, new hire inductions and facilitated learnings discussions
  • Management of sickness absence, annual holiday procedure and all other forms of leave (e.g. maternity, paternity) across EMEA
  • Working with the Global Benefits team, build relationships with benefits brokers and develop a comprehensive benefits service to employees
  • Liaise with International Payroll Manager to ensure timely updates, on-boarding and off-boarding of employees to EMEA payrolls
  • HC management , manage employees data of EMEA, job leveling and classification align to company guidelines and approach
  • Facilitate efficient HR operation including data accuracy in HR systems and generating timely and accurate reporting to Management.
  • Navigate sensitive employee relations issues with good instinct focused on quick solutions while effectively managing risk


Innovation:


  • Proactive initiatives to support management in identifying local HR trends, drive employer brand and community initiatives for core locations -Belfast, UK etc and across EMEA region.
  • keeping up to date with changes in employment law legislation and implementing the changes in line with local and global compliances, whilst advising management on compliance and risk factors
  • Completion of local compensation and benefit analysis to drive policy changes and enhance employee benefits
  • Driving regional alignment, working closely with HR, Workplace and TA team members supporting the region


Implement
Global HR Processes:


  • Collaborate, consult and coach managers on HR related topics to support a respectful, high-performance culture
  • Proactively anticipate and meet the needs of business leaders, employees and line managers through the HR function
  • Implement people and talent management processes (performance, learning & development, C&B), participate in cross-functional initiatives through collaboration with the Global HR Team and take an active role in improving processes
  • Partner with the Global HR Team to identify opportunities to improve process and policies that effectively support the execution of the people strategy
  • Promote global processes and programmes at a local level to employees and line managers across the region
  • Partner with the regional talent acquisition team to fill roles swiftly and strategically while forming and maintaining strong partnerships with hiring managers re onboarding and employees ongoing engagement


People and Culture:


  • Collaborate, consult and coach managers on HR related topics to support a respectful, high-performance culture
  • Proactively anticipate and meet the needs of business leaders, employees and line managers through the HR function


  • Onboard new employees, process new hire employment paperwork and documentation, plan and schedule orientation sessions in alignment with business needs and company culture
  • Navigate sensitive employee relations issues with good instinct focused on quick solutions while effectively managing risk
  • Develop and implement HR programmes and initiatives to support employee engagement, development and culture
  • Promote equality and diversity as part of the global culture of Imperva and work closely with local teams to ensure maximum employee engagement. Drive discussions with line managers based on SOLVE survey results.
  • Act as an employee advocate, providing counseling and support to employees, as appropriate
  • Assist in the implementation and roll-out of the annual Performance Development Programme (PDP), providing training and guidance to employees and line managers across EMEA
  • Responsibility as Key Contact and Authorising Officer for UK Sponsor Management System, ensuring visa compliance and timely updates, as appropriate.
  • Provide Immigration information and advice to line managers to ensure Imperva complies will all necessary immigration and visa requirements.
  • Working with both internal and external stakeholders to drive the growth, high engagement and success of Belfast and UK offices as well as EMEA remote sites


Facilitate Talent Management;

  • Develop continuous improvements to recruit and retain top talent and to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the local Talent Acquisition Process, including providing a great candidate experience
  • Working with the Talent Acquisition team , advise and support line managers in the review and forward planning of current and future staffing requirements within the region in accordance with policy and employment legislation
  • Support TA team with recruitment campaigns across EMEA including compiling and certifying job descriptions, job advertisements, conducting interviews, issuing offer letters, contracts of employment etc.
  • Work strategically with line managers and the wider HR team to ensure the business is equipped to attract, retain and develop their employees and future employees


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field
  • Master’s degree in human resources, business or related field
  • CIPD qualified
  • 5-7 years of HRBP, HR generalist experience or a mix of HRBP and specialization in other HR disciplines (employee relations, recruitment, compensation, benefits, operations, L&D)
  • A strong solutions focus, comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience with a complex and rapidly- changing work environment
  • Ability to interface at different levels of the organization
  • Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement
  • Ability to work independently and build strong relationships with remote team members
  • Enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
