We are seeking a talented and collaborative Executive Director who is passionate about private banking operations to lead our EMEA Core Operations team. You will be responsible for the management, governance and oversight of the teams and processes that make up the Custody and Core Operations group.

Job responsibilities
- Be a local leader in Edinburgh for Core Operations, with functional management across the EMEA team
- Collaborate with business partners across various departments to identify opportunities for operational efficiency and improvements.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, third-party service providers and regulators.
- Be part of the EMEA Investment Operations leadership team and act as a trusted advisor to the Wealth Management leadership team on all operational aspects.
- Mitigate financial/reputational risk by ensuring appropriate controls and procedures are adhered to in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Preparation of monthly and ad hoc senior management reporting.
- Review of escalation items and other business escalated items/metrics/KPIs/KRIs and management of SLA with different service providers, as well as ensuring adequate contingency planning and testing are in place and appropriate for the entity.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Strong experience leading Operations teams, with a primary focus on Private Banking Operations.
- Significant experience and understanding across Custody and Core Operations Functions ( Client Reporting, Data Management, Asset Servicing, Asset Transfers,Cash & Reconciliations)
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team with empathy and emotional intelligence.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex operational issues.

- Ability to effectively maximize delivery of business goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills required to provide status updates to key audience in a concise, informative and timely manner.
