The Company - Shotbowl Ltd is not only an internet trader, our Shop is probably the largest specialist bowls shop in the country with its own laser levelled rink for customers to try their bowls before they buy, and is owned and run by Trevor & Ruth Collins.

Over 20 years ago it diversified into embroidery and printing and now is the largest supplier of personalised and corporate clothing and school wear in the area. We are also a market leader in custom made embroidered shirts/blouses and jackets. Our new range of Invictus Shirts are leading the way in sublimation design. Offering our in-house embroidery and printing service, you can have anything you want personalised with your club or individual logo.

The Role - Due to the continued growth, we are now looking for an additional part-time Embroiderer to work alongside our growing team.

The role will involve:

  • Analysing and understanding project specifications and clients’ needs before starting each embroidery project.
  • Selecting the thread, fabric, hoops, and designs appropriate to each project.
  • Setting up machines and supervising the embroidery process.
  • Performing regular machine and inventory inspections and reporting any issues or reordering stock as required.
  • Providing suggestions regarding the design, placement, and fabric and thread selection.
  • Drawing guides or pinning tissue paper patterns onto fabric.
  • Keeping track of work orders and updating records.
  • Communicating with clients and ensuring that all orders are sent out in a timely manner.

The applicant will have good people skills and experience with working in a team, speaking with customers, being confident on the telephone, as well as being self motivated to ensure a clean and tidy showroom. Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent administrative abilities and attention to detail. The ability to read and understand instructional manuals.

22 hours per week. Worked in a 3 week rota consisting of:

2 Weeks:

Monday 11.45 - 17.15

Tuesday - Friday 13.15 - 17.15

1 Week:

Tuesday - Friday 13.15 - 17.15

Saturday - 09.45 - 16.15

With a half hour unpaid lunch break on Mondays and Saturdays.
