Job description
My client develops products such as learning control Handsets/Keypads/Touch screens, CD Players, A/V Processors, DAB Tuners and various home entertainment systems. They require a real time embedded software engineer fluent in software design for consumer electronic products, some control hardware design experience is essential. Candidates should posses C/C++, Assembler and Visual Basic code writing skills in addition to having familiarity with popular embedded Micro controllers such as Arizona Microchip, 8051, etc. Experience with TCP/IP and USB interfacing would also be beneficial. Design experience with Protel CAD software would be a real advantage. A thorough working knowledge of Visual Basic is required, together with experience of various control interfaces such as USB, RS232 and RS485.
