PSI Pax, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Engineer to join our team in support of our NAWCAD Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) government customers in St. Inigoes, MD.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
The Electronics Engineer will develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software. Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets. Visualize, interpret, and report data findings. Create dynamic data reports and dashboards. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to investigate, analyze, and use predictive modeling to inform data decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Performs research, design, development, test, or supervision of the installation and integration of electronic components and systems for various ATC systems.
  • Employ knowledge of electronic theory, supports improvement of radar, landing systems, and control systems for Precision Approach and Landing System (PALS) and Navy/Marine Corps ATC and related equipment.

Required Qualifications:
  • Secret Clearance is required
  • Senior Level: At least ten (10) years of experience in engineering. Three (3) to Five (5) years of this experience shall be with PALS and/or Navy/Marine Corps equipment.
  • Mid-Level: At least three (3) years of experience. One (1) year of the required experience shall be in engineering, test, evaluation, design, or improvement of radar, landing, or control systems.
  • Knowledge of the Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) Process that maps the technical reviews to the acquisition process described in DoD 5000 documentation and follows the process described in NAVAIR Instruction 4355.19D.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management process to better manage the many risks associated with projects.
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis process used in finding and eliminating the underlying causes of problems or events.

Education Requirements:
Senior: Master’s degree in Math, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Physics or Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of additional, relevant work experience beyond the required experience.

Mid-Level: Bachelor in Math, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Physics.
