Job description
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs research, design, development, test, or supervision of the installation and integration of electronic components and systems for various ATC systems.
- Employ knowledge of electronic theory, supports improvement of radar, landing systems, and control systems for Precision Approach and Landing System (PALS) and Navy/Marine Corps ATC and related equipment.
Required Qualifications:
- Secret Clearance is required
- Senior Level: At least ten (10) years of experience in engineering. Three (3) to Five (5) years of this experience shall be with PALS and/or Navy/Marine Corps equipment.
- Mid-Level: At least three (3) years of experience. One (1) year of the required experience shall be in engineering, test, evaluation, design, or improvement of radar, landing, or control systems.
- Knowledge of the Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) Process that maps the technical reviews to the acquisition process described in DoD 5000 documentation and follows the process described in NAVAIR Instruction 4355.19D.
- Knowledge of Risk Management process to better manage the many risks associated with projects.
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis process used in finding and eliminating the underlying causes of problems or events.
