Salary range is based on experience and technical interview.

In terms of salary range:
- w/7 years: $88k - $96k ($92k midrange)
- w/10 years: $117k - 128k ($122k midrange)
- w/bonus potential average 10-20%, in addition to annual increases (not guaranteed, however have paid out over the past 2 years. We are committed to ensuring that when the company is successful, everyone will benefit).
Location: 100 % REMOTE
- We are open to remote for the right candidate, particularly if they have VA experience. If the candidate lives in the DC area, we are currently under a hybrid work model, minimum of 2 days a week in the office.
About the Position
Seeking a Project Manager (PM) with Federal consulting experience and familiarity with data-driven research and analytics projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Federal agencies as a contractor or employee supporting multiple projects and tasks at the program, initiative, and/or enterprise level. The PM will be responsible for leading and managing projects to conceptualize, design, and develop a wide range of solutions; identifying and mitigating risks; and managing cost, schedule, and performance. The PM will support the client by providing oversight and management support, to include all the necessary technical, business, and administrative planning; organizing; managing; coordinating; tracking (e.g., schedule, deliverables); performance management; and resource management required to perform all project activities successfully.
The position allows for a flexible work schedule that includes onsite and remote work depending on company and/or client needs. The work schedule and location are flexible if approved by the company but may require attending meetings in person.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and support project management activities for research and analysis for Federal government initiatives.
- Oversee a project team of consultants and subcontractors comprised of economists, statisticians, policy analysts, and programmers.
- Maintain and manage relationships with project manager, program staff, contracting officer's representative, and senior level management within the client organization.
- Support strategic planning, budgeting, and staffing efforts in response to task requirements.
- Monitor progress and resolve any issues impacting successful delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all administrative and contractual requirements.
- Develop, manage, and maintain the project plan/work breakdown structure, tracking progress and adherence to all contractual requirements, ensuring that project milestones, deliverables, and timelines are completed in a timely manner.
- Oversee and track contract financials on an ongoing basis.
- Develop quality assurance standards and manage QA process for all work products and deliverables.
- Develop client briefing documents, reports, and presentations.
- Support project staff providing administrative support to on-board/off-board staff as required.
- Respond to requests to discuss and/or resolve technical problems with Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officer Representative (COR)
Qualifications
- Minimum:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Federal Government Consulting experience
- Minimum of seven (7) years of combined consulting and project management experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project, Teams, and SharePoint
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to carry out multiple tasks under tight deadlines while managing a diverse project team.
- Experience working across multiple dynamic organizations, driving stakeholders toward a common objective.
- Proven ability to identify and help resolve issues and risks and prevent escalation whenever possible.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues.
- A capable self-starter with a drive to get all types of work done and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Effective verbal and written communications with the ability to serve as the project point of contact, leading calls, video meetings, and presentations.
- Preferred:
- Master's degree
- Demonstrated management and leadership skills.
- Veterans Administration ("VA") claims, program, and policy
- Knowledge of VA healthcare system and/or benefit programs and eligibility requirements
Requirements
- US Citizenship or permanent resident and the ability to obtain a public trust or pass a government security investigation for a clearance are required because of government contractual terms.
- Out-of-area travel is minimal.
