Job overview:
We are currently recruiting for fixed-term summer teachers who are friendly, reliable and passionate and who can work effectively within a close-knit team. The college itself is based in the heart of the City near to Liverpool Street and Aldgate station.
Position details:

Position start dates: Monday 3rd July or Monday 10th July
Length of contract: 4-6 weeks

Number of hours per week: 15 hours in the morning and possible afternoon work.
Responsibilities: To plan and prepare for all lessons taught. These include our morning General English multilingual classes which focus on improving the students' accuracy through coursebook-led classes as well as using supplementary material. Students' ages range from 16-60 years of age.
Qualifications:
Candidates are required to have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and the Cambridge CELTA/ Trinity TESOL with ideally 1 year or more experience.
Safeguarding:
As KAE is the English language department of David Game College, we are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Part of the post-holder's responsibilities will be to adhere to our Safeguarding Policy. Interviews will be face-to-face in London or online. Proof of identity and qualifications will be required at the interview. All applicants will need to provide at least 2 referees. When following up references, referees will be specifically asked if they have any concerns about the applicant working with people under 18. Please provide email addresses and phone numbers of referees.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and sign a Suitability to Work with Children Declaration, where you will be asked to state any criminal convictions. Applicants based overseas will be asked to provide evidence of a 'clean' local police check. Before commencement of employment at KAE, applicants will also need to complete the Child Protection Level 1 training course.
