Fixed term until July 2024, with a possibility of the contract extending, but this would be dependent on the needs of pupils, future funding and the operational needs of the school.
At St Peter’s we are pleased to be able to advertise for a fixed term, 32.5 hours term time only ETA to join our team. St Peter’s is an inclusive and welcoming school. Relationships at all levels are positive and caring and this promotes outstanding social and spiritual development as well as good academic achievement. The governors wish to recruit a talented, enthusiastic, inspirational and highly motivated person with a sound knowledge and understanding of Early Years, Key Stage One and Two practice and children with complex special needs. The right person will have the needs of the child at the heart of everything and will ensure they adapt their practice in light of this. The position is a fixed term contract to support groups of children and children with SEND who need one to one support in school until July 2024. There is a possibility that this contract will extend further.
You will need to have:
- A firm but fair approach to working with children
- A passion for children’s well-being and learning and help them to reach their full potential
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with an ability to work as part of a team, build positive relationships with the whole school community
- A positive outlook
- A good sense of humour
- A keen desire to promote the aims and ethos of this church aided school
