Leo Chan Education Ltd is trying to solve the problem of parents’ unbalanced information of education in the UK through optimized online courses and teaching products. Improve the overall educational environment by providing quality online courses for students and parents. Our London office is currently looking for a motivated education consultant to join our expanding team.
We are now looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Education Consultant ideally with relevant work experience in the (UK) education industry to join our expanding team.
The role is intended to define and develop our company’s strategy to grow and maintain our business in the international students’ market.
The main responsibility of the role will include but not limited to as follows.
1) Be able to proactively identify and respond to the existing and potential needs of students, parents and educational institutions when applicable
2) Work with clients to solve their problems in a timely manner
3) Be able to present your ideas and solutions in an effective way
4) Provide guardianships for international students when applicable
5) Provide consulting regarding the school/university choosing, application matters for students and their families
6) Provide consulting and coordination services regarding English language learning and other tutor courses for potential students and families
7) Coordinate and provide the online tutoring courses taught by local English teachers for Chinese students
8) Provide private academic, vocational and other instructions to individuals or groups
The ideal candidate will need to have excellent interpersonal, communication and IT skills, proven experience of customer-faced roles and communication capacity. You will need to have excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as a team member and effectively manage a varied workload to meet deadlines. In addition, you’ll have a professional and flexible approach to work, and the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with students, parents, and schools. Preferably, you have previous experience of working with schools and/or working with students and parents, but it's not a must.
All customers are required to wear a face mask, click and collect available, common surfaces are sanitized regularly, vaccination requirements, etc.
Key responsibilities

Abilities/Skills/Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, or with equivalent experience
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Interpersonal and communication (both oral and written) skills
- Problem-solving and strategic planning ability
- Project management skills or experiences
- Analytical skills
- Flexibility
- The ability to cope with pressure and challenges
- Relevant experience in a similar advisory role, preferably in an educational system
- Ability to communicate in mandarin is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
