We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Editorial Intern to join our team for 12 weeks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about journalism and looking to progress their career in this field. As an Editorial Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the Editor-in-Chief in producing a daily newsletter, a bi-monthly publication, and covering conference events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Editor-in-Chief in producing a daily newsletter, bi-monthly publication, and coverage of conference events.
- Conduct research and fact-checking to ensure accuracy of content.
- Source images and multimedia to accompany articles.
- Manage social media accounts and engage with the audience.
- Keep up to date with industry news and trends.
Candidate Requirements:
- A degree in journalism or passion for journalism.
- Excellent reading and writing skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong research skills and ability to fact-check information.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and ability to engage with audience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
