Conde Nast Traveller is seeking an organised, confident, and collaborative individual to support the Global Operations Director and Global Visuals Director on a part time basis.
The role requires problem-solving, a proactive attitude and ability to easily multi-task. The successful candidate will occasionally be required to respond quickly and carefully to urgent requests. It is imperative that this person is flexible, responsive, efficient, and calm under pressure. Collaborating closely with the senior editorial team, the Editorial Assistant will also offer support across all editorial areas of the brand. Candidates must have excellent written and communication skills.
This Editorial Assistant role will interact extensively with other Conde Nast employees and figures in the luxury, travel, fashion and media industries. Professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail are paramount. The roles main responsibilities are administrative and operational. Prior experience in office administration is a plus; a keen sense of organisation and attention to detail are both essential.
The position will report directly into the Global Operations Director, and be based in London.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring the smooth running of the Editorial office and overseeing all administrative duties
  • Onboarding new suppliers and processing invoices
  • Coordinating international travel arrangements
  • Organising editorial meetings
  • Support with ad-hoc administrative duties within the Editorial team
  • Support pulling together events and projects
  • Provide administrative support, including but not limited to calendar/schedule management, travel arrangements and expenses
  • Maintain and update the editorial calendar as well as other department documents as and when required

Essential Skills and Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be highly self-sufficient and resourceful
  • Outstanding organisational and time-management skills
  • Proven ability to manage heavy workloads and prioritise appropriately
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
