Box Office team
Assembly Festival sets the standard for theatre, comedy, and entertainment and are one of the largest multi-venue operators on the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. We present high calibre work in temporary theatre spaces across the city, ranging from lecture theatres and churches to tents and shipping containers. As a Box Office team member you will be part of a well-trained team who have a thorough knowledge of the ticketing system and our Festival programme. You will be an important and skilled team member able to resolve customer queries, advise and direct customers. You will have a professional manner, be a people person and happy to gather and organise information for our customers, providing unbeatable customer service at this front-line position.
Bars team
Bars are an essential part of the Assembly Festival experience, they are the social areas where audiences and performers gather, adding to the energetic buzz of the venues. At Assembly, we pride ourselves on creating unique, professional and safe environments for performers and audiences to get a drink pre-show, as a place to meet friends or to unwind. If you have previous bar or waiting experience, are passionate about all aspects of bar service, willing to work hard and learn new skills, then it may be for you.
Front of House team
The Front of House team performs an array of duties within the venue. More than just ripping tickets, this job is about seating audiences, answering queries, greeting customers and ensuring everyone's experience at Assembly is a positive one. Front of House and usher teams needs a good understanding of what it means to deliver great customer service and always be positive and ready to help. This role gets involved in all aspects of the festival and we have small and large teams across our festival sites.
Street Food Operations team
At Assembly, we pride ourselves on the delicious range of street food we present to our customers each year. The street food ops team are trained on the job to deliver generous, healthy dishes in a fast-paced and exciting environment. Split into small teams, successful applicants will have the chance to learn multiple cuisines and workflows and be ready to move between roles as required.
We are looking for Kitchen prep staff, servers, baristas and customer service superstars.
