This is an exciting time to join Berkshire LEP in this roleworking in our Research team producing economic, labour market and statistical analysis to support businesses across Berkshire.

The role of Economic and Labour Market Analyst Intern includes producing reports, such as quarterly Economic Updates for use by members of our Board and stakeholders, Sector Propositions which set out the case for leading businesses to base themselves in Berkshire, and ad hoc requests from stakeholders and colleagues within the LEP.

The role will require a focus on global, national, regional and local economic trends, high growth businesses across Berkshire, and socio-economic trends such as employment and unemployment across Berkshire.

We are a small company which offers a collaborative and friendly environment with lots of opportunities to get involved across the LEP. Plus, you will have the opportunity to work with a truly diverse range of local businesses and play a key role in supporting and growing Berkshire’s business community.

The role is a hybrid of working from home and in the LEP office in central Reading for collaborative working when required. This is a full-time role, but we will consider requests for part-time or flexible working.
