Summary
The eCommerce Specialist’s primary duty primary role is to ensure the Palecek website delivers an exceptional user experience, assist with new developments, and provide training to various website users.
Description
· Power user for the new PALECEK website and order management system
· Assist with the development of training and documentation materials for the website and other digital technologies
· Assist with organizing and implementing usability testing, user research, and A/B testing
· Implement site merchandising strategies – ie merchandising products on the website, updating logic for product recommendation carousels, etc.
· Maintain site search, dealer locator, and site content
· Ensure success of product launches, including validating data, merchandising new products, submitting images for rendering, and organizing testing
· Review website analytics daily for trends and opportunities
· Maintain and organize option imaging, including processing for visual rendering
· Create and update SEO content throughout the website
· Analyze trends in GA4 analytics & create compelling narratives around trends to inform website design and functionality
· Ability to craft and collaborate on copy and content for the website, blog, help center, and other marketing materials as necessary
· Perform other duties as requested
Key Qualifications
· 1-2 years’ experience in eCommerce, Site Merchandising or Digital Marketing role.
· 1 year of experience using GA or GA4 analytics tools
· Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, etc., preferred
· Requires a passion for learning new technologies, contributing to broader team success, and a self-starter mentality.
· A passion for creating meaningful user experiences online
- A sharp eye for detail, ability to spot content errors and product issues on a live website
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management programs
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
· Ability to act with integrity, empathy, professionalism, and confidentiality
· Demonstrated ability to work effectively with culturally diverse staff and populations
Physical Requirements
- Operate in a professional office environment
- Moderate noise i.e. business office with computers, phone, printers and light traffic
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer
- Close vision requirements due to computer work
- Ability to see various shades of color
