Background
The School Marketing team is responsible for providing City, University of London’s academic Schools with strategic and tactical marketing support to align with School plans. Working closely with the central Marketing & Communications function and key stakeholders within the Schools, the Schools’ Marketing team develop and implement plans to meet the specific recruitment and marketing needs of the Schools.
Responsibilities
The post holder will contribute to the implementation of marketing and student recruitment activities, working closely with other members of the University marketing, recruitment, digital, communications and events teams. Responsibilities will include representing Schools at internal and external events and supporting the implementation of School-specific marketing plans by building and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders, supporting digital campaigns and social media activities, developing marketing content, and maintaining databases and data gathering.
Person Specification
The successful candidate will be keen to further a career in marketing, recruitment and events with experience of working to help deliver large projects or events.
They will have a good understanding of the UK education system and knowledge of marketing principles and practices.
A customer-focused attitude and experience of working in a customer-facing environment, and be confident to work independently, copywriting, and participating in recruitment events, with evening and weekend work also occasionally required.

Subject to agreement, relevant Professional Services roles may be undertaken in a hybrid way. This involves a combination of working on campus and at home each week.
